Description

We are here to promote community wide activities and events that are fun for the whole family! We will plan on having at least 5 events per year (Spring/Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Fall/Halloween, Christmas). We will also plan for smaller events in between those times like block parties or theme parties (get out your 70's and 80's clothes!). Looking to throw a cookout for your block? let us know and we will help! We are striving to have block parties throughout the community during the year.

I'd definitely be interested in a pot luck, depending on when... unfortunately, I am super busy and fall isn't looking any quieter for me. =)

Community Meet & Greet
Sun. Sept, 4 @ 6pm behind the small pool!! Weather permitting!

The weather should be much nicer, so what a better way to take advantage by getting out in the nieghborhood and meeting some new faces. There will be a small grill, so bring something if you want, BYOB. My children (4 & 13) will be there, so bring the kids and come say hi!

Hey there everyone!!

Just a thought---IF we are going to try and plan something fun for halloween (or labor day), perhaps we should start meeting and planning now so that we have enough time. last few events seemed to fall through either because of scheduling issues with the HOA events or lack of planning.

i knew Don was going to do a big halloween thing, and now i do not expect anything since we dont even know who is managing our community. So if we want something planned, it is up to us! Lets not sit around and hope the HOA does something!

Let me know what you all think!

I definitely want to start planning something for Halloween. If we have a plan early enough, maybe the HOA will still help fund it. We will just have to plan meetings around boot camp.

I think the next event should be for the teens or a "back to school" party in late august. Just a thought.....

Everyone seemed to be having fun. Thank you for all the hard work everyone! The next big HOA event isn't until Halloween. We should think about doing some smaller neighborhood events in a couple weeks. Maybe we can start meeting on a regular basis again.

I concur with Don and say we only take the route he suggested. We can let evryone know when they show up for decorations.

My $.02 cents on the parade would be to decorate and/or start at the main pool, go up Cross Oak Ranch Blvd to the School and back. I will have the median decked out with flags. Parade watchers could line the parade route along the Park and the median. We could even block off that section of Cross Oak Ranch Blvd for an hour.

Remember it going to be 105+ counting the heat index, so I wouldn't suggest going the length of Liberty! The heat is why I thought Monday morning might be better for the parade. But its your parade!

I will send another Email blast tomorrow promoting the parade, dinner & fireworks.

I will also promote the Karaoke and even invite the Community talent to come out and perform.
