Co-ordinates the twice yearly community wide garage sale events (Spring & Fall) as well as any extras that may occur in between! This group serves as a base to plan organize and supply the details of the sales dates, times and locations so we can spread the word far and wide!Announcements

Ok 3/31/12 got the most responses to date (sorry Prof Mae!) I'll let Michelle at CMA know and update the facebook page soon. I am suggesting 8 am to 2pm to give everyone a chance to get there wares out.

I'd rather sooner than later. I teach and have spring break the week of March 17th-24th, but given the outrageous cost of travel due to gas prices and airfare, I will not be going anywhere. Since the garage sale does happen twice a year, I don't think it'd be the end of the world if a few families who have the money to travel for spring break miss the garage sale if we do it the weekend of the 17th or the 24th. I vote for the 24th. What is the facebook page called?

How about 3/31/12 for the garage sale? week after spring break so it doesn't interfere with any travel plans?

Ok I've turned the Garage Sale page on Facebook back on and set an event for 10/15/11. If someone can set up a craigs list ad now we will only have the local leg work to do with flyers.

You can download a copy of the flyer from the Cross Oak Ranch Community Garage Sale thread in the forums. If you can make copies and distribute to local businesses please do!!

Ok I put the sign-up at the main entrance and will need to get another to put up at the secondary entrance and we will need one for over at The Lakes area. I have gotten an ok for the school to post the garage sale on their marquee and that should happen sometime this week. We will need to coordinate who will distribute flyers and where so please let me know what you are able to do in the time we have left. Thanks!
