HOA Disregards Federal FCC Law

The Cross Oak Ranch Homeowners Association, in violation of Federal Law, is attempting to stop residents from installing "Over The Air TV Reception Antenneas".

Recently, violation letters have been sent to Cross Oak Ranch homeowners who have installed antennea's on their homes, notifying them they have to remove them or face fines.  This is a blatent violation of federal law which prohibits "governmental and nongovernmental restrictions on viewers' ability to receive video programming signals from direct broadcast satellites ("DBS"), broadband radio service providers (formerly multichannel multipoint distribution service or MMDS), and television broadcast stations ("TVBS")."

Homeowners of Cross Oak Ranch need to be aware that this is a violation of FCC LAW, and are reminded NOT to fall prey to the HOA's attempt to limit their ability to install antenneas on their homes.
